Hydrazine Hydrate

Mayuri's manufactures Hydrazine Hydrate (CAS No. 7803-57-8) as an inorganic compound and powerful reducing agent chemically represented as N2H4.xH2O, is a colourless liquid having ammonia-like odour. It finds most of its uses as boiler oxygen scavenger and oxidative corrosion inhibitor in boiler water systems either as a simple solution or in its catalyzed form.

As a water-based solution, Hydrazine and its derivatives are widely used as reducing agent, blowing agent, corrosion inhibitor, oxygen scavenger or as an intermediate of synthesis. Hydrazine finds use in various industrial sectors such as Water Treatment, Polymerization, Agro chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals.

On application, it effectively removes dissolved oxygen concentration, reducing the chances of oxidation corrosion. Reacting with oxygen to form nitrogen gas and water, it can also be used to passivate mild steel without adding to dissolved solids to boiler feed water.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Removes Dissolved Oxygen (DO)
  • Prevents oxidative corrosion
  • Causes mild steel passivation
  • Does not add to the TDS of boiler water
  • Completely volatile nature

  • Devices maintenance cost reduction
  • High purity
  • Increase of polymerization
  • Oxygen scavenger for less corrosion in industrial process
  • Energy saving practice
