Salt based Chelates and Sequestrants are used extensively in commercial, municipal and manufacturing applications for waste water treatment, laboratory processes, cosmetics, textiles, F&B, etc. Most of the agents are widely used to remove rust, scale and other debris from the metallic surface. On reaction with metal ions, these chelates form a stable compound with them, making those easily excretable from the application system.
